Amid raids of Occupy Wall Street encampments in cities nationwide, Occupy Oakland is calling for a West Coast strike of all ports in order to disrupt operations on a large scale. The Total West Coast Port Shutdown is scheduled to be held Monday, Dec. 12, according to Occupy Oakland’s website.
